Myah was a 1st year Law student at De Montfort University who has Cerebral Palsy. This condition had been preventing Myah from going to work and studying properly. She had been relying on her partner for her independence.
In an attempt to regain her independence, Myah decided to create a ‘Go Fund Me’ page to raise money for a wheelchair.
Whilst raising money for the wheelchair, Myah visited Modern Mobility to hire a mobility scooter until she was able to raise the full amount for the wheelchair.
When Myah told our store manager Nick her story and why she was hiring the mobility scooter. Nick showed exactly why Modern Mobility’s motto is “Family Values Delivered The Modern Way”.
Still needing more than double the amount currently raised on the Go Fund Me Page, Nick decided to discount the wheelchair by more than half and give Myah the freedom she deserves! Myah said
