We needed to get a stairlift installed for my elderly Dad. One call to Modern Mobility and Andrew Holden came to visit. Andrew is a true professional and really demonstrated his understanding and care for my parents.
Andrew went through all the options after assessing my dad’s needs then left a brochure for him to consider. There was no pressure, no ‘hurry up’, no sales gimmicks or ‘sign up today’ nonsense just an honest and genuine approach.
The stairlift was ordered and Andrew kept us updated and even brought some additional mobility aids to help.
Installation happened on the day Andrew says it would and it was better than expected. It was expertly installed with no mess and no fuss.
Andrew also did a follow up visit to check my dad was safe and comfortable using his new stairlift and offered to continue to help with anything he needs.
What a truly magnificent service from start to finish. Andrew is totally true to his word, he’s very friendly and I can wholeheartedly recommend both Andrew and the amazing team at Modern Mobility. What a difference they’ve made to my dad’s mobility and safety at home.

My friend Mary's power wheelchair broke down and the only people I could find to look at it immediately was the Blackburn shop. Mary did not buy the chair from there but the ladies in the shop where very friendly and helpful, I took the chair in the next day Thursday and Grandad  diagnosed a faulty control unit and said they would order a replacement in the meantime Grandad fitted a used control unit that he had so that Mary had transport over the weekend. He also serviced the chair. On the following Tuesday Grandad and Jake arrived at Mary's house to fit the new power controller and two tyres that needed replacing.
