Could You Benefit From A Stairlift?

Stairlifts can be a great benefit to those who struggle to climb the stairs unaided. Although stairlifts are more commonly associated with the elderly, anybody who finds it difficult to get up and down the stairs or has limited mobility may find getting a stairlift a huge help.

Depending on the staircase you have a straight stairlift may be the most practical option for you. It is exactly what it sounds like, a stairlift that goes straight up and down without any bends or twists.

Extra Features

All of our stairlifts have optional extras to make your life even more easier. We have powered options, so if you struggle to turn your hips or bend down, we have powered options to do it for you.

There are 2 options you can get, manual & powered hinges.

manual hinge means you will need to raise and lower the end of the track manually.

With a powered hinge at a flick of a switch, the hinge will lift/lower automatically

Straight stairlifts are typically used on stairs that are straight and have no bends or corners on them. If you are unsure, don’t worry, one of our stairlift professionals will come to your house and carry out an assessment before you make any final decisions.

With many different straight stairlift options, you can choose which one is best for you. Our stairlift specialist will help you base your choice on comfort, your current and future needs, your budget and what style of stairlift you would prefer.

This choice is based on your needs. A manual swivel seat is best for people with a bit of mobility and can move the seat yourself. Where as a powered one is ideal for people who need a little more help to get in and out of the seat.

Our range of Handicare stairlifts offer super slim models to fit even the narrowest of stairs. When our professional comes to visit you and perform their assessment, they will take this into consideration when finding the perfect stairlift for you.
