The robust 1100 is powered by Handicare’s patented four wheel drive technology with four quiet and reliable motors. In the unfortunate and rare event one of the motors breaks down, you can still finish your ride up or down the stairs. The lift is fully certified by the international stairlift safety standard EN 81-40 and designed for years and years of carefree daily use. Thanks to the continuous charge functionality you can park the seat anywhere you like on the rail: the batteries are always charged and ready to go. The 1100 is suitable for users up to max. 140kg.Slim

It’s the slimmest straight stairlift rail on the market! To save even more space, the stairlift seat, footrest and armrests can be folded when not in use. The seat will swivel at the top landing, making sure you can get on and off the stairlift easily and safely. Also, the 1100 comes as standard with safety sensors that will stop the lift in case of obstruction.

All of our stairlifts have optional extras to make your life even more easier. We have powered options, so if you struggle to turn your hips or bend down, we have powered options to do it for you.
There are 2 options you can get manual & powered hinges.
A manual hinge means you will need to raise and lower the end of the track manually.
With a powered hinge at a flick of a switch, the hinge will lift/lower automatically
When you start to travel up the staircase the track will move with you. It is designed to facilitate a safe and comfortable dismount at both the top and bottom of the stairs.
This option is designed for homes with a door at the top of the stairs. Or where the stairlift could be a possible tripping hazard at the top of the stairs.
The powered swivel chair will automatically swivel your seat round so that you exit onto the landing safely without having to lift a finger.
Turning your footplate into a powered one will maximize free space, you can automatically fold up the footplate this could be perfect if you struggle to bend down.
The full power setup includes both the power foot plate and power swivel seat you all the same benefits but more value for your money when bought together.

No! The 1100 Straight Stairlift is simply installed onto the stair treads. Because it is fixed to the staircase, you don’t have to worry about any further modification to your home.
Entering and exiting the 1100 is made easy, simply unfold the seat and footrest, sit down while securing the seat belt. When it's time to exit your 1100 you can use easily swivel the seat to face your landing for a controlled departure.
Compact and ultra slim, the 1100 can easily be folded up when not in use to allow for easy pass-through for family members and friends.
A power failure is no reason to worry. Your Handicare stairlift will use its batteries to remain operational and can still be used for at least 10 rides up and down the stairs. The 1100 features Constant Charge, providing charging anywhere on the track so it is ready for use 100% of the time.
The 1100 is equipped with a fault display behind the power pack, simply review the code and call your local dealer who can easily look up the code and inform you if the battery needs to be replaced.
Generally the batteries will last for three years depending on usage.
